My School DC is a school lottery in Washington DC for public and charter schools serving PK3 – 12th grade. Their annual event EdFEST hosts schools around the district to showcase their programs to perspective parents and students. I was the lead designer in charge of creating the event style that represents the company’s brand.

For their biggest event of the year, I wanted to design a concept that could clearly be recognized as a My School DC event but also stand out as the EdFEST design. The approach I was to keep their bold colors unaltered  and creating a visual pattern that was fun and versatile. The result was a hexagonal pattern that could be used interchangeable to create various deliverables needed for the event.
